Top January releases

As one can probably tell from the title, I am trying to highlight notable releases by month. Hopefully this both provides me with my first topic for realistic, consistent blog posting, and anyone who likes monthly new music consumption a nice starting point of reference. In turn, I am very excited as this will make doing a list at the end of the year sooooo much easier.

This month saw some great releases. With pop music and rap taking a break from all the noise it made in November and December, all the indie bands came out to play. They brought along their reasonably sized fall-release marketing budget for a calm and well organized day at the park.
